Design for Continuous Flow

Built on experience with more than 100 trainees in operational environments, in five half days we give your leadership team the tools and vocabulary to design future processes the right way.

Programme

• Day 1 · Introduction, simulation and the power of visualising
• Day 2 · Continuous flow and customer-centric working (value add)
• Day 3 · Connecting and timing process steps, optimising with KPIs
• Day 4 · Balancing and levelling processes for optimal performance
• Day 5 · Running the business: summary and team alignment

Each session lasts about four hours and provides the right context plus at least one practical tool to get started with. We schedule one session per week, so your team can keep up with their daily responsibilities.

How we work

• As close to your work floor as possible, so we can also do optional practical exercises on the floor.
• Groups of at most 7 people; larger groups are split up.
• In Dutch or English.

What you take away

Along the way you learn where terms like takt time, cycle time, push, pull, value add, line balancing and levelling apply, and how to weave them into your own style, as means, not ends in themselves. On top of that: a workbook, templates and glossary, with lifetime online access.

Investment

• Five half days for the leadership team: €6,000 (excl. VAT)
• Individual coaching: €1,400 per day (excl. VAT)
• Custom follow-up programme: quote based on scope

What happens next

The training is just the start. Afterwards you choose how we continue: individual coaching on the floor, or a custom programme around one topic from your practice, such as redesigning or levelling a production line.
